Who are we?

We are residents of Japan, some from Japan originally and some from overseas, who are deeply concerned about the climate crisis and actively pursue solutions to the crisis.

We are residents of Japan, some from Japan originally and some from overseas, who are deeply concerned about the climate crisis and actively pursue solutions to the crisis.

Groups like 350.org Japan, which is part of the international climate NGO 350.org, do tremendous work trying to solve the climate crisis.
However, much of the work they and other climate-concerned groups in Japando is conducted in Japanese.

We realized that there are many people in Japan who are concerned about climate change, but due to language barriers find it hard to participate fully in the climate movement in Japan.

We can’t wait to get
off Zoom and back
in the streets!

350 Eigo was formed to make it
easier for such people to learn
about the movement and take
climate actions in Japan by
providing information and
opportunities for action in English.

350 Eigo welcomes participation and support from anyone who is interested in taking and promoting climate actions in Japan and who could do so in English. Whether you grew up speaking English or learned it as an additional language doesn’t matter.
